A quick-start kit for making on-brand, CMS-backed microsites at Mozilla
Birdbox is a kit that helps Mozilla developers quickly build websites with the Mozilla brand look and feel, and then give control of the site content to non-developers.
It was developed by the Marketing Engineering And Operations (MEAO) team to save everyone time and put more control over content into the hands of the relevant project’s team.
Birdbox wraps the excellent open-source Wagtail CMS. Of course, our code is open, too
All components are based closely on our in-house design system: Mozilla Protocol, so sites are always on-brand.
Birdbox uses pre-vetted infrastructure-as-code templates to stand up new new sites quickly
